The FB post as reads: In the fall, Hoffman was working to open a doughnut stall at The Market on Market, the food hall in the base of the Twitter building in SF, and the process was somewhat delayed by construction issues. The stall finally opened in November, following two months of pop-ups there, and it included Doughnut Dolly’s first foray into savory doughnuts (kind of like sweet pork buns). It is with great loss and sadness to announce that Doughnut Dolly is now closed. We have had the unique privilege of feeding you treats over the last five years in Temescal, three years in Berkeley, and just a few months in San Francisco. Being a constant contender in the Bay Area fried goodness world, we’re sad to see them go. A serious Bob Cut favorite to the end.
